The organizations T-Oats supports:
T-Oats will support the following non-profit equine charities from the monies earned from selling "totes". Our mission is to help feed and /or care for rescued horses and help make the healing connection between humans and horses.

Amazing Grace Equine Sanctuary
Amazing Grace Equine Sanctuary Inc. was created in 2008, for the sole purpose of offering a safe haven for unwanted, abused or neglected horses. This sanctuary offers safe care and refuge - to all horses who pass through our gates. Here all their needs will be provided for - including shelter, nutrition, vet and farrier care, and most importantly - unconditional love and attention. Amazing Grace Equine Sanctuary provides services to all surrendered horses, regardless of the previous owners circumstances. Our facility is dedicated to the rehabilitation of these magnificent animals, whenever possible, to their fullest physical and mental potential. It is our goal at Amazing Grace, once overall health, well being and soundness of a horse is accomplished, to assess them for possible placement and adoption to the public. www.AmazingGraceEquineSanctuary.com

American Standardbred Adoption Program (ASAP)

American Standardbred Adoption Program, Inc. was founded in 1994 by a small group of dedicated individuals and professionals who saw a need for a placement service for non-racing Standardbreds. This placement service honors and serves the people and horses within the harness racing industry around the country, with special emphasis on Standardbreds in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. The American Standardbred Adoption Program also serves as a rescue facility and sanctuary for abandoned, abused, or neglected horses of all breeds, and is listed by the Humane Society of the United States as a humane equine rescue organization. www.4thehorses.com

F.A.L.L. Equine and Animal Rescue
F.A.L.L. Equine and Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation that offers heart and home to animals in need. Based in Washburn,WI, it is operated entirely by Larry and Jodi Munson. They have experience with all kinds of animals, but specialize in attending to special needs horses and working with others to help make a change in the laws governing livestock. Their facility is not fancy but all their residents are sheltered, well-fed, and loved. 100% of their donations and adoption fees go back into the charity. At F.A.L.L., horses are welcomed from all different situations. Many are surrendered by families who, for one reason or another, can no longer care for them; others are allowed to come and live with them after suffering hardship such as abuse or neglect. Another portion of their animals come from auctions where they are being bid upon by kill buyers. The subject of saving horses from auctions is debated by many, but at F.A.L.L., they feel slaughter is a brutal, barbaric end for these helpless creatures.

Over the years, they have found that spiritual healing is just as important as physical healing. Many of the animals that come through their gates have suffered a lifetime of abuse, neglect, fear and disappointment at the hands of humans. There is no greater joy than seeing a healthy soul emerge from a healing body. fallgirl@cheqnet.net

Midwest Horse Welfare Association
M.H.W.F. Inc. is a charity and non-profit organization dedicated to finding homes for horses who would otherwise have a hard time finding a good home. That is our only purpose. We are not horse dealers or traders and are not a market for backyard breeders. Everyone involved in our program is a volunteer and 100% of all donations and adoption fees go back into the care of another needy horse.

The horses that come to us come for many reasons and each horse has it's own story. They all have one thing in common, they need a loving and caring home. Our rules and policies are the accumulation of years of experience and planning. We are looking for good people with big hearts willing to share their lives with a horse who needs their help. For the folks who understand this, we greatly appreciate the help and support you have shown. www.EquineAdoption.com

Old Friends - Cabin Creek
InOld Friends is a non-profit organization established in 2000 by Michael Blowen and is based out of Georgetown, Kentucky. We began as a retirement and rescue facility for pensioned thoroughbreds, but in 2002 in response to the public outcry after the slaughter of Ferdinand (winner of the 1986 Kentucky Derby) in Japan, we changed our mission and began focusing on "at risk" race horses who's racing and breeding careers had come to an end. www.oldfriendscabincreek.com
